So it's come to my attention on many websites of the use of single spacing after a full stop or period. If we consider this an example sentence. Then consider this the follow up example sentence. vs We consider this an example sentence of double spacing. Then consider this the follow up example sentence. Upon looking into this matter I've found great debate. Now, personally I am a double spacer as I was taught this way. I am 31, and was taught to double space on a computer in the 90's and there has always been two computers or more in the households I've lived. This is going back to a time when PC ownership was lucky to be one person on a single street. There's many who claim double spacing is old and for old people; that single spacing is the way of the future and get with it grandpa! Scandalous! So what spacing do others use, why and when were you taught this?

I've only been using a single space my entire life.
Maybe two spaces for clarity. But for the most part only one.
